We are going with Castelli as a clothing vendor for this year’s kits. The local Castelli Rep will be supplying a fit kit for us to try out the clothing items that will be available to us when the order webstore opens up.
The fit kit night will be on Monday, January 12th at 6:30 PM at Fraser Bicycle (in Fraser). This is your opportunity to ask the Castelli rep any/all questions about this year’s kit.
If you cannot make this night, the fit kit will be at the shop from January 10th until the 18th. You can try on items of the kit as your schedule allows, however, you should try to come to the fit kit night on the 12th to have any questions answered.
Try on the kits during this time period before the clothing order. Castelli’s sizing differs from Voler, so it’s fairly important to understand your size before you place an order for this year’s kits. You will not be able to return kits once ordered and you will not have another opportunity to try on a fit kit.
Any questions please contact the club ragman Erik Krueger via Facebook or email.

Join us for the Exhale Ride on October 5th in Metamora at 10:30am. The ride supports JDRF, the leading global organization funding Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) research, and is promoted by Team O2/Cadieux Bicycle Club, and Riders4Research. The ride was started by Brian Hords 10 years ago to connect with the Detroit cycling community, build awareness of T1D, and give back to the T1D community.
This is a dirt road ride in “horse country”. Metamora is located between Oxford and Lapeer, and it’s a great scenic area to enjoy the fall colors. It’s about 50 mins to 1 hr drive from West Bloomfield, Farmington, Bloomfield, Troy, etc. The ride is 99% dirt roads, so you will need a hybrid, cross or mountain bike. There are 20 Mile and 40 Mile routes that will be marked. Maps will be provided. Food will provided before and after, and at a rest stop at the halfway point. You can make this a family ride, or ride with a small group at your own pace or hang with the hammer heads (A and B ride groups).
Minimum donation is $20. You can get the details and register at www.exhaleride.com
